A digital x-ray allows for quick on-screen reference to facilitate your understanding of any areas of concern. Digital x-rays allow for minimal exposure time with 80% less radiation than normal x-rays. Once taken, digital x-rays are stored directly in our computer system, creating clear, detailed images of your teeth, gums, and supporting bone. These images can be easily referenced in your file for future visits. Digital x-rays are also quicker, safer, and more environmentally friendly than traditional x-rays.
